For nearly two decades, Mira has been drawn to the moments that bring people together — the anticipation before the doors open, the room coming to life, and the feeling of watching a family experience it all for the first time. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she has built The Event Bar around a simple belief: the most memorable celebrations are the ones that feel deeply personal.

THE ONE BEHIND
THE CELEBRATIONS.
YOUR MOST DEVOTED ADVOCATE.

ABOUT MIRA

A LIFE IN CELEBRATION

Long before she planned a wedding, she was Prom Chairman in high school — already organizing celebrations before she knew it would become her career. By the time she began assisting established planners, the foundation was already there.

Her years in luxury hospitality, including catering sales management at Hilton Universal City, shaped the way she sees an event — from the guest experience to everything happening behind the scenes. She knows what it takes to make a celebration work from both sides of the ballroom.

the beginning

her story

The daughter of Israeli parents, Mira grew up fluent in Hebrew and immersed in Jewish tradition. Her connection to celebration is personal. From childhood, she understood that life's milestones are not guaranteed — a perspective that still shapes the way she works.

Her love for weddings came first — and she passed it on during babysitting nights with her nieces, watching Bride Wars on repeat and studying the cool blue world of Tiffany & Co. Somewhere between the lighting, texture, and timing, she was already learning how a room transforms. Years later, watching those same girls grow into women who share that love of beautiful celebrations feels like the ultimate full circle.

A life built around the people she loves

In 2025, Mira celebrated ten years of The Event Bar at the Sofitel Beverly Hills — surrounded by the families she had the honor of celebrating and the creative partners who stood beside her along the way. Every guest in classic black. Mira in a singular Tiffany Blue gown. A room full of people who had, in their own way, helped build something worth celebrating — anchored in one quiet truth she has carried since childhood: if you keep on believing, the dreams you wish will come true.

The community built along the way is one of her greatest sources of pride. Photographers, florists, designers, DJs, and creatives who began as colleagues became friends. They don't work against each other. They work for the families they serve — together.

TEN YEARS, ONE ROOM

Every planner brings a distinct personality and creative approach. There is no competition — only the right fit. It is simply a matter of choosing whose hand you wish to hold through the journey.

01 — THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Mira was three years old when she was diagnosed with leukemia. She remembers parts of it — not as distant fragments, but as moments that stayed. There was a wall in the hospital covered in handprints, one for every child who had been there. Beside each one, they marked the children who had not made it. She understood what it meant that her leaf was still blank.

That truth never left her. It became part of the way she sees people, milestones, and the meaning of being truly seen - and, in many ways, where this work began.

02 — BEFORE THE NAME

01 — THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Before The Event Bar had a name, Mira was already in the rooms where celebrations were being built — learning how timelines come together, vendor relationships are formed, and effortless rooms emerge from hundreds of invisible decisions.

Her years in luxury hospitality gave her something most planners simply do not have: a true understanding of how hotels and venues operate from the inside. That perspective still shapes every celebration The Event Bar produces.

02 — BEFORE THE NAME

01 — THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Before The Event Bar opened in 2015, she studied at FIDM, sharpening the design eye she had been developing her entire life. The brand began as a physical storefront in Encino — a place where clients, vendors, and the world of event planning could meet under one roof.

Eventually, the storefront gave way to a private, by-appointment model — not a retreat, but an evolution. A more personal way to serve the families who trusted her with their celebrations.

02 — BEFORE THE NAME

01 — THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Over the years, The Event Bar has produced events at some of Los Angeles' most distinguished properties — from the Sofitel Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hilton to the Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons Westlake Village.

But the greatest privilege is what happens after the celebration: walking couples down the aisle, then watching them build families of their own. Seeing a mitzvah boy grow into the young man he becomes. Being invited back, years later, to celebrate the next chapter.

Those are the moments that make this work mean something.

02 — BEFORE THE NAME

01 — THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

The Event Bar enters its next chapter with the same conviction it was built on — and a sharper, more intentional vision for what comes next. The podcast is underway. The Vault is growing.

What hasn't changed is the way this work is done: slowly, deliberately, with the same care from the first family to the most recent. Because what they are investing in is more than a perfectly executed event. It is a memory that lasts a lifetime.

The families we celebrate are not clients. They are the reason this work exists.

THE EVENT BAR AT A GLANCE

“Mira asked us questions no other planner thought to ask — about our families, our traditions, what we were nervous about. By the time we sat down to talk logistics, she already understood exactly what we needed.”
