The Event Bar was founded by Mira Shabtay, an avid lover of all things Tiffany blue with a refined taste for luxury ever since she could remember. Not only has she worked turning dreams into reality by creating tangible events, she took her passion to the next level and became a certified wedding planner.
Prior to opening The Event Bar, Mira was Catering Sales Manager for the Hilton Universal City – LA’s goto venue for traditional Jewish Weddings. Having gained an impeccable reputation and extensive knowledge it was a no brainer for Mira to branch out on her own again.
Mira has an expertise with planning events for the Jewish community. Due to her upbringing, she has a deep understanding about the cultural richness of Judaism and its traditions. As a result of her imbedded Jewish roots, The Event Bar will ensure to cover every detail and carry on our cultural traditions from generation to generation!
Having many years of experience, Mira has successfully mastered event planning for countless bar/bat mitzvahs and other Jewish ceremonies. Mira tailors her service to fulfill your special day with her extensive knowledge, experience and nonetheless for the sheer love of uniting people to celebrate.
Mira is always full of new creative ideas and up to date with unique trends, making your event a memorable one that stands out from the rest. Her attention to detail will be of value and ensure that there are no financial, logistical, or illogical errors will be made while strategically working within your budget.
